Privacy

What we keep, why, and how to have it removed.

Plain terms, because that is how we would want it explained to us. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms. For registration, that is your name, email, mobile number if you give it, age group, suburb and postcode, where you study or work if you give it, what you care about and how you want to be involved. For Grounded State applications, it also includes how you describe your views, the motions you would argue, your pitch, and any profile or video links you add. For issues, it is whatever you choose to include, and your name and email are optional.

Where it is kept

Our forms are run by monday.com, and your answers are stored in our monday.com account. Access is limited to the small team running Agenda.Melbourne and Grounded State.

What we use it for

What we do not do

We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to political parties, candidates or campaigns. We do not publish your name without asking you first. Issues on the standing agenda are published without the name of the person who raised them unless they ask otherwise.

Grounded State and filming

Debates are filmed and published online. The application form asks you to confirm you understand that and agree to be recorded. Before filming we will go through how the footage is used and ask you to confirm it in writing. Applying does not commit you to appearing.

Age

Our forms ask for your age group so that we can run programs appropriately and keep contact with younger registrants suitable.

Removing your details

Ask at any time and we will remove them. Reply to any message we have sent you and say so. If you raised an issue anonymously, there is nothing about you to remove.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, we will say so here and let registrants know.
